Hi everyone! This blog will be one of the ways our Haiti mission team will keep people back home updated. I will try to update every night after returning back to our hotel, but depending on time and wifi availability it may change. There will be multiple groups of us traveling to Haiti starting today (1/9) and we will be returning on Saturday January 18th. We will spend the week visiting local schools, churches and setting up medical mission clinics to reach out to the people of Haiti. There are 31 of us in total (multiple talented doctors and medical personals, a small film crew and many other helping hands) and I think I can speak for all of us when I say we are very excited for this opportunity to go down and share God's love with our Haitian brothers and sisters! Our team verse is Mark 2:2-12 (NIV), which is the story of Jesus forgiving and healing a paralyzed man. We know God has great things planned for the next week and we thank you for all of the prayers and encouragement!
